Interactive Map Views of Natcarb Data

The 2008 Atlas features a mapping system built using Google Maps. These maps are much easier to use than the previous maps; they are still being refined, so feel free to email us your suggestions and comments.

The Nov. 2004 version of the NATCARB IMS Portal is available at http://drysdale.kgs.ku.edu/natcarb/midflash/natcarb_new.html). The system uses Arc/IMS using a Macromedia Flash map interface.

A new help system is now online at http://drysdale.kgs.ku.edu/natcarb/help/natcarb_usermanual.htm.

You will need the latest version of the Flash add-in for it to properly function. Newer browsers have this addin, but you can download the free plug-in from Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com) Use the "Downloads" button to download the Flash player for your operating system.

Charting and graphing of NATCARB emissions data uses a Java-based system. You will need the Java Plug-In, available free from Sun Microsystems. Look for the link "Download the JRE" in the "Where Do You Get Java Plug-in?" section of the page, or use the "Downloads" menu and use the "Download Production Release 1.4" link.

The new beta version of the NATCARB IMS Portal is available at: http://drysdale.kgs.ku.edu/natcarb/midflash/natcarb_beta.html

The NATCARB Portal is a pre-release version with the usual BETA issues. The site is definitely under construction and is subject to continuous program modification, which periodically may restrict availability. If you want to show this site to someone and want to make sure it is available, contact Tim Carr (tcarr@kgs.ku.edu) or Jeremy Bartley (jbartley@kgs.ku.edu). We can make sure that the site is online. Try it out!

This server is run by the Kansas Geological Survey for NatCarb, a project funded by the U.S. Dept. of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory.
